How to Hang with The Smartest People on the Planet (without leaving your couch)

Recently, I had a conversation with one of the world’s best podcasters, John Lee Dumas.

He has been a powerful inspiration in my life, since I came home from an extended stay in Thailand back in mid-2013.

Here’s what happened:

Starting my own marketing agency, I became growth-obsessed.

I soon discovered, one of the best ways to quickly grow is to absorb as many podcasts as possible (since the right ones are positively brimming with wisdom and market intelligence).

Of course, you must listen to the right ones…

And so started my journey of searching out the very cream of the crop in iTunes podcast section.

Today, the best for me includes a dozen of the top minds in the world, piped into mine, via iPhone earbuds. Naturally, Entrepreneur on Fire is one of my top picks.

Here’s why:

  • JLD releases a podcast every. single. day.
  • He focuses on the best successes… and the worst failures.
  • Format is clean and tight.
  • Monthly income statement.
  • The best interviews.
  • Fantastic guests!

There’s a lot more to why John Lee Dumas has one of the top-rated podcasts, but why not just give you a sample? In fact, check out the interview John did recently with me, right here:

You can get it on iTunes here, or Stitcher, right here.

Don’t wanna go yet? I don’t blame ya! You can stay right here on my site and listen to this great interview now:

And… in case you’re not a subscriber to my email list, what are you waiting for? Drop your email in the box and I’ll make your inbox a better place to visit, GUARANTEED, or your email back.

I wish you the very best in all that you do,

  1. Hi Jesse,

I felt compelled to let you know that you are my most favourite EOFire episode ever. My only re-listen I’ve ever done. My only email to a guest. One of the most inspiring stories I’ve heard. Ever.

    With thanks,

    Lizzy Williamson

ps. I’d imagine as a copy writer you spend a bit of time sitting. As a way of saying thank you for your free report (which is brilliant) here is one of my 2 minute workouts that might be great to implement throughout your day.

    1. I finally got off my chair and did this exercise, Lizzy! It was great, you’re right… and it is fast, too. Great stuff, I’ll keep doing it. -Jesse

  2. 1. Why have you never told me this part of your story?

    2. I seem to recall quite a different reason for getting into DR, but maybe I remember your brother’s story… it had to do with lawyers and cars.

    3. I’m sad that I didn’t know this part of your story. But I’m glad that I know it now.

    4. I hate the host of your show.

    a. He’s full of it.

    b. He’s so empty (and it shows in contrast to your story.)

    c. Okay, hate is a strong word, because I don’t really hate. I find him to be grating.

    5. I’m sorry, but I won’t ever give you a referral. Why? Because I really don’t want you to work for anyone else.
